Biography
Mason stands just above average height with a sturdy, broad-shouldered frame. He’s not overweight, skinny, or heavily muscled, but is still solid, and looks like he could swing a club. His long red hair is usually tied back in a ponytail, with a few strands always managing to slip loose. Freckles dot his pale skin, especially across the bridge of his nose and cheeks, a giveaway of his Northern European ancestry—a Viking in a modern-day artist’s skin.
His eyes are a striking blue, often intense when he’s speaking passionately about a story or argument—but softened when he’s sketching or lost in thought. Around his neck, he wears a silver Mjölnir pendant, a subtle nod to his admiration for Norse mythology and the heroic values woven into his graphic novels. It glints occasionally when he leans forward at the table, elbows propped up as he scribbles in his worn sketchbook.
Mason dresses simply—plain jeans, graphic tees, and hoodies, practical and unfussy. His shirts often have faded artwork or references to fantasy worlds. His hands are always ink-stained, and there’s usually a smudge somewhere on his face or arms. His graphic novels, known for their themes of heroism, myth, and violence, feature bold, often brutal imagery—barbarians, beasts, and epic battles—but always with a moral thread at their core.
When tensions rise at the retreat, Mason’s temper can flare—he doesn’t hide frustration well. But beneath that is someone who believes in loyalty, courage, and creative integrity, even if he doesn’t always express it the right way.
